 School trips-essay

Today we will talk about my school trips. I have participated in many trips, I have gone to museums, I have been camping several times, and I can say that the most interesting trip is camping. I can say that all trips go well when you are with friends. The best school trip for me is camping. It is very nice for me to spend three days with people close to me. And even though it’s very cold there, each day is very happy. Since we moved to high school this year, we all have to attend boot camp. Going twice a year is a must. The camp is very strict, but I know it will go very well. I would also like to go to any theater with a my class. This much I can say that wherever you go, any trip without friends will be boring.

September 11 attack

September 11 attacks, also called 9/11 attacks, series of airline hijackings and suicide attacks committed in 2001 by 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda against targets in the United States, the deadliest terrorist attacks on American soil in U.S. history. The attacks against New York City and Washington, D.C., caused extensive death and destruction and triggered an enormous U.S. effort to combat terrorism. Some 2,750 people were killed in New York, 184 at the Pentagon, and 40 in Pennsylvania (where one of the hijacked planes crashed after the passengers attempted to retake the plane); all 19 terrorists died (see Researcher’s Note: September 11 attacks). Police and fire departments in New York were especially hard-hit: hundreds had rushed to the scene of the attacks, and more than 400 police officers and firefighters were killed.

The plot

The September 11 attacks were precipitated in large part because Osama bin Laden, the leader of the militant Islamic organization al-Qaeda, held naive beliefs about the United States in the run-up to the attacks. Abu Walid al-Masri, an Egyptian who was a bin Laden associate in Afghanistan in the 1980s and ’90s, explained that, in the years prior to the attacks, bin Laden became increasingly convinced that America was weak. “He believed that the United States was much weaker than some of those around him thought,” Masri remembered, and “as evidence he referred to what happened to the United States in Beirut when the bombing of the Marines base led them to flee from Lebanon,” referring to the destruction of the marine barracks there in 1983 (see 1983 Beirut barracks bombings), which killed 241 American servicemen. Bin Laden believed that the United States was a “paper tiger,” a belief shaped not just by America’s departure from Lebanon following the marine barracks bombing but also by the withdrawal of American forces from Somalia in 1993, following the deaths of 18 U.S. servicemen in Mogadishu, and the American pullout from Vietnam in the 1970s.

The key operational planner of the September 11 attacks was Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (often referred to simply as “KSM” in the later 9/11 Commission Report and in the media), who had spent his youth in Kuwait. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed became active in the Muslim Brotherhood, which he joined at age 16, and then he went to the United States to attend college, receiving a degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 1986. Afterward he traveled to Pakistan and then Afghanistan to wage jihad against the Soviet Union, which had launched an invasion against Afghanistan in 1979.

According to Yosri Fouda, a journalist at the Arabic-language cable television channel Al Jazeera who interviewed him in 2002, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed planned to blow up some dozen American planes in Asia during the mid-1990s, a plot (known as “Bojinka”) that failed, “but the dream of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed never faded. And I think by putting his hand in the hands of bin Laden, he realized that now he stood a chance of bringing about his long awaited dream.”

save our space

In this century, a lot of garbage is collected everywhere in Armenia. All people throw garbage not only in the bins, but also outside. Also, people who smoke cigarettes almost always throw their cigarette buts on the ground. Almost everyone in Armenia drives a car, and the smoke coming out of the cars pollutes the air. People dispose of that garbage realizing that they pollute our country. People can pollute without fear, because they know that they will not bear any responsibility for it. To solve this problem, the government of Armenia should tighten the issues related to garbage. In some countries, such as Germany, people are fined for smoking. In order to reduce garbage, I suggest opening a garbage processing business in Armenia.Let’s save the future of our country and the world.

How Does Costa Rica Celebrate New Year?

Fireworks – Lots of fireworks!

To sell and use fireworks in Costa Rica is legal, so almost every New Year’s Eve party will have a display to light up as the night progresses, with a master display waiting to impress right after the clock marks the zero hours. After hugs and cheers are finished, an array of fireworks can be seen from every corner of the Central Valley.

If you are into fireworks, spend New Year’s Eve at one mountain lodge in the Central Valley that overlooks the valley. It’s just a fantastic show!

BBQ – All Night Long!

The celebrations for New Year’s Eve can have two settings. First, some families enjoy the sit-down dinner with good food and conversation at the table and then peacefully wait for the start of the new year.

But most homes will make it into a big family and friends party! So first, they will light up the grill and cook thin cuts of beef (very well cooked, of course), chicken, sausages, vegetables, and more. Then, during the entire night and until the new year starts, they will serve the cooked meat on a tortilla as it comes out of the grill.

There is also lots of music, dancing, laughing and drinking. So, I did something right for my first New Year in Costa Rica!

What Are Costa’ Rica’s New Year’s Traditions?

Costa Rica’s New Year celebrations are filled with superstitions. Here are a couple of traditions we have to make sure that you do; I will also do them!

Eating 12 Grapes

The tradition is that you need to eat 12 grapes, one grape each month, and make 12 wishes at precisely the change of year to make sure you will be prosperous every month of the new year.

Carrying A Maleta (Suitcase)

If you grab your luggage and run around the block right after midnight, this will make sure that you will travel that year!

What Colored Underwear You Wear Is Important!

Yes, your underwear! What do you think yellow, green, or red underwear represents?

If you wear yellow underwear, then it means that you will attract good luck in the new year. Green underwear is, of course, attracting an abundance of money. And the red underwear is all about love in the New Year!

Find a Santa Lucia Flower

It would be best to find a Santa Lucía flower on January 1st and put it in your wallet, so you have money all year long.

But most important is that you start the year with friends and family to ensure you will foster a sense of love for the new year.

What Do They Eat On New Year’s Day In Costa Rica

Remember what we said about a BBQ? Well, this is what the locals will do. It is all about meat such as carne asada, pork legs, grilled chicken, and other meats. I may have also divulged some fantastic homemade fried pork reins on New Year.

You may also see others make an appetizer, such as ceviche, especially if the locals caught the fish from the ocean over the last few days.

As you sit and wait for the meat to grill, families will grab a cold one, chat about the good, the bad, and the ugly from the last year, and look forward to the new year.

What Clothes Do People Wear On New Years In Costa Rica

As a woman, who loves her clothes and loves to dress up, you can leave those heels and fancy dresses at home if you are coming to Costa Rica.

If you are attending a party by a beach, for women, a lovely dress (long or short) is excellent, along with beautiful sandals, because if you are on the sand, you aren’t wearing any shoes at all. For men, on the beach, a nice pair of shorts, a t-shirt, or a polo, but if you are comfortable in your skin, you may be popping a top at midnight and jumping in the ocean to celebrate the new year.

If you are attending a party in a town like San Jose, or Liberia, ladies, you may want to bring a pair of comfortable wedges and a cute dress. Since some roads are not the best to walk in heels, wedges may be your best bet, BUT sometimes that can even be tricky. For example, you don’t want a rolled ankle on your vacation. For the men in Costa Rica, a nice pair of shorts or jeans with a nice top would do the trick. We highly suggest checking the attire requirements if you are going to a club or fancy restaurant.

Essey about travelling

I like to travel very much. I like to look at the road, both from the plane and from the car. I have been to many countries: Egypt, Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Greece. I also traveled all over Armenia, and this year I was in Gyumri and Sisian. I dream of being in Canada, for its nature, and in Korea. When I travel, I like to explore new things and if there is an ancient way to go to a country where I have not been, than to go where I have been, I would go to new countries. I really like to travel with my parents and relatives. I haven’t traveled abroad with my friends yet, but I would love to. I would also love to travel around the world and see new things and have good and happy memories. Only by traveling can we see the world with our own eyes and open the world within ourselves.
