Yerevan is the city where you can drink water from a fountain, enjoy the hot summer and see one of the oldest fortresses in the world, Erebuni. The history of Armenia dates back to the reign of Urartian King Argishti I. He was the one who built a fortress on the top of Arin-Berd, the ruins of which have been preserved to this day.
